Sorry. I started 3 threads in a row on Politics. I hate to leave on a note of error. Not intentional. Good luck Bob. I like you and think you're a good person though I don't agree with your policies. Wish me luck. I'm starting a new life. zazenduck

dammit don't leave i've just spent my evening reading up on seperation of church from state (yeah constitution did beat france though depends on how you define 'seperation of church from state) ;-)
and reading about sex ed
and intelligent design
and ANZUS (australian new zealand united states treaty)
and stuff on nz pronunciation.
got a lot of laughs over the latter.
i get a bit of grief for my accent now.apparantly i have pronounced shortened 'i'.
so when aussies say 'fish and chips' it sounds like 'feesh and cheeps' and apparantly when i say it it sounds like 'fush and chups' to the aussie ear. or sometimes it sounds like 'f'sh n ch'ps' 'cause the 'i' is so shortened it hardly exists really.
i can hear it sort of...
it is funny 'cause 'six' and 'sex' sound reversed...
there is someone from scotland here and her accent is a constant source of amusement to me. 'cause i don't really bother with 'r' either and she makes a very big deal of them indeed.
heh heh.
er... sorry i digress. i'm sorry :-(
