How long has there been a “Language” menu on the posting page? I only just noticed it. What does it do?

There used to be a way to translate posts, and it helped then to know what the starting language was. :-)

When did it change? it seems like yesterdsy that I went to Spanish and all the posts were in Spanish. Love Phillipa Ps goona try it again as stubborn as I am.

I now realize that my eyes have always ignored that line. It's been there all along. I'm just so used to skipping over it (Tab, Tab, Tab) to get to the message box, that I don't even see it.
For some reason, just tonight, I *noticed* it. And it scared me! LOL Oyoyoy. :)
