Hey don't sweat it Muffled I can't keep up either, and not generally bein' around that much or coming to Admin that often doesn't help.

Many folks change their posting name in order to dissociate from their past posts under the old name. Thus, they don't want to tell their old name.

I take no notice of them..
I'be had my mind messed with WAY too many times in the past by people changing their names and then playing the "guess who I am" game (not talking about here but elsewhere), and so if people want me to know who they are, they can tell me. If not, they can't complain if I don't act like I know them.

Could you clarify, are you refering to that you take no notice of people who change there name at this forum, or elsewhere?
I'd also like to mention that i'm not playing the "guess who I am" game.
I changed my name for personal reasons.

I meant I take no notice of name changes. here or anywher else.
It was elsewhere that people played the "guess who I am game", I wasn't saying it was you or anyone else here.
I don't *ignore* people who change their name, but I treat them as someone entirely new, and don't bother myself with trying to work out whether I have known them previously under a different name.
Guess I've just been online too long and been hurt too many different ways.
