I'm thinking of starting a blocked posters list

Posted by Deneb on January 20, 2006, at 17:04:29

I'm thinking of starting a blocked posters list so that I can post supportive things to them while they are blocked.

I think this would make them feel less lonely.

I won't point out that they are blocked though, unless someone asks specifically. I'll just post hugs and affirmations to them, maybe everyday.

Do you think this is a good idea?

hmmmm...interesting thought. But do you reckon there are unblocked people who could use daily support too, possibly even more so, depending on the severity of their issues?

Personally I'm not sure I'd want to be on a list if I were blocked. And when I DO get blocked, I don't usually do a daily read of Babble, because it's difficult to read if I can't respond. when I'm blocked, I tend to stay away completely until my block is over. But i'm sure other people handle it differently.

Yes. Those people are sometimes hard to find if they don't post that they are upset. It's black and white with blocked posters.

Have you been blocked JenStar? I don't mind if the blocked person doesn't get to read the messages I give them. It'll be hit and miss, but I'm willing to do it if it helps just one blocked poster out there.
