Is it possible to request for a block??

Posted by pinkeye on July 22, 2005, at 14:12:52

I think I might want to request to be blocked.. Is it possible to request to be blocked. Not now maybe, but after a couple of weeks.

I don't have control myself to stay away from posting.. :-(

For the most part, Dr. Bob has resisted doing that. But you can block yourself by changing your password by reregistering to a string of unmemorable numbers and letters.

There is a retrieve password function if you ever want to unblock yourself.

To go a step further, you could also change your email address to a fictitious one. I don't see any way you can recover from that one. At least not without Dr. Bob's help. And only if he knew your previous email sufficiently to know it was you.

I forgot the email id with which I registered and I forgot the password also.. Somehow I seem to be able to post with one password, but when I try to login to pinkeye@yahoo.com with that password or try to enable babblemail, it won't let me get through.
