Indeed she does! And our "wronged" wrote that Dinah had her blocked because she succeeded in making *Dinah* look bad, and she wasn't joking either.

Hey, a donation is a donation - you didn't buy shares :-)
It is a kind and thoughtful thing to have done. I didn't realise for quite some time that Dr. B funds this personally. I thought he would have got a research grant or something. Actually, I am still a little puzzled as to why he can't / doesn't try to get a research grant to fund the site. But maybe this has been thought before...
Anyways, I too am glad this site is here.
And I am glad that some people are in a position to help out with $ to try and ensure that this site continues to be here.Maybe someone wants to buy a spellcheck???
I'd pay if I could.
But I am glad it is not a requirement because I can't.
Even internet access can be an issue for me.

Ah, once you guys have hauled my *ss through college then maybe I'll have some $ for a change. Nobody ever went into philosophy to try to be rich, but one day when I am comfortable I will happily return the favour best I can :-)
What goes around comes around.

What kind of perks come with that?hello there, chemist here...pardon my French - and jumping in to the middle of a thread - but you appear to be suffering from adult-onset oral encopresis: Does it make sense that Dinah - overworked, overqualified, and overly kind - would pay Dr. Hsiung for the honor of (no pun intended) being burdened with duties such as keeping up with posters such as yourself?.....i would wish you all the best yet my new year's resolution is to try my best to tell the truth.....chemist

Please don't post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down.
If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please see the FAQ:

Follow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration. They, as well as replies to the above post, should of course themselves be civil.

hello there all...the issue of funding a site with traffic such as this begs the question (and please, i do not mean to offend, so if i am stepping on toes, please do let me know): Why is there not a yearly production of a calendar featuring PB folks in all their splendor? the new york city fire department does, if i recall, raise a tidy sum with each month featuring one of mew york's finest, usually clad only in hip-waders and an axe; similarly, there are the (more varied???) items featuring women in settings tropical, office, and other; and gender preference need not be an issue.
i volunteer, and suggest that the consumer decide: one could request that May flowers are welcomed with a brilliant photo montage of chemist being smacked in the mouth by persons of all persuasions; or perhaps being led off in restraints....either way, a winner!
what do you think? (no nudity, tofu :))

Or what about a book - maybe "Online (In)Sanity" where many of us tell our stories of suffering and healing. Using anonymous posting names, of course.

I was thinking more of a collection of essays. A chapter is a lot to ask of any of us.
It could even contain poetry, drawings, etc.

Well, there could be a section of 'quotable quotes' or something like that.
Yeah, ok - maybe change the title ;-)

Good luck with the grovelling :-)

So, tofuemmy and I were Iming, and it stimulated this idea. She mentioned that atticus should get an autograph album for all the babble starletts he is meeting. And then I thought, hey, then he can auction it on B-Bay for charity.
That's what Babble needs, a B-Bay. We can swap books and stuff. When we change sizes due to eating issues of any kind, we can swap clothes!Get something in a Clinique gift that isn't for your skin type? Put it on B-Bay...
And perhaps you could earn "get out of blocks free" cards instead of money. Kind of like buying indulgences.
What do y'all think?
