I wrote in a post "I might add that people who have something "wrong" with their serotonin system have poor social lives. If your serotonin levels are too low you'll be one of those rejects who are cast aside" how bad is that last sentence?

how about, "you'll be cast aside as a person considered to be a "reject"...."?

I know what you meant there, but, yes, it probably could use a little editing to avoid offense...

Sometimes it is very difficult to say anything without offending SOMEONE, I'm afraid... Hey, I've been called on it, too. In my opinion, if we've managed to post something without offending ANYONE, we probably didn't add enough of "ourselves" in the post!!!

How about something like:

> I might add that people who have something "wrong" with their serotonin system may have poor social lives. If your serotonin levels are too low you may have a poor social life and feel like a reject who is cast aside

Bob

Good for you, Dr. Bob

I appreciate that you took the time to make an alternate suggestion. I think that often that extra effort would help clarify things a lot.
