I try to be civil. Not sure about the difference between a generalization and an overgeneralization. I'm sure there are many doctors who are not waltzing with the drug reps, but all my recent experiences and research point me to a disheartening conclusion.
I also find it disturbing the way our President is personally attacked on these boards with no comment about how uncivil that is.

If this is your stance, then I think you should clearly state that no political content is allowed.
I personally have been repeatedly offended by
political statements, subtle and blatant, that have not received PBCs, blocks, or or any indications of having been reviewed or considered by the ostensible moderator. Don't ask me to cite instances. I don't wish to revisit those offenses.
Do it or don't do it. Be fair or don't. It's up to you. And I don't accept "busy-ness" as an excuse. This site is your responsibility, and you either take your responsibility seriously, or you don't. Please be civil. And please act responsibly.
