It seems to me like a couple of years ago, and Googling "2003 poster:spike4848" or "2004 poster:spike4848" found none of his posts for the years 2003-4. I know, however, that Google indexes only about 70% of posts; for example, a search for "blocked spike4848 poster:dr.bob" failed to find the post informing him (and us) that he is blocked, although we all know that such a post must exist.
If it was a couple of years ago, isn't there an upper limit of one year on how long anyone can be blocked?

The last time he was blocked, it was for 4096 weeks. There wasn't an upper limit then, but I guess the current one could be applied now. OTOH, he did post again before it was in fact applied...
