Dr. Hsiung,
I am requesting that you make a determination as to if the following post is acceptable under the code of posting here. I realize that perhps there is a different criteria for the administrative discussion and I am requesting the determination based on only the administrative discussions.

Dr. Hsiung,
The part in question by me is:[... it seems to me that you are intelligent enough to know what you do, why you do it and what it does to many of those that encounter it...].
I feet accused and put down when I read that statement. I am asking you if the statement has the potential to have the effect to accuse me and put me down in the context of this administrative discussion, or if , IYO, it does not; or, if the statement does have that potential to do so, it is still acceptable because it is on the administrative board.

Are you asking whether the standards of civility are different for the Administration board than for the other boards? That's a good question.

Scott,
I belive that the different boards could have different standards. My request for a determination is for the moderator to clarify some more on what those differences are.

I understand.
Do you think they should be different? I hadn't given it much thought. I had assumed that the same standards should apply to all of the boards.

Lou, What is it exactly about a statement that attributes to you intelligence, insight and an intention to your postings that makes you feel accused or put down?I believe the following thread exemplifies these three attributes:

Scott,
You asked if I believe that they should have different standards.
I believe that each board's standards could be different. In the administrtive board, I agree with Dr. Hsiung if he is saying that administrative discussions are different than, let's say, the discussions on the social board, or some of the other boards.

I agree, I'm going to let it go. Best wishes,
