Lou's request for clarification-prosylatizing

Posted by Lou Pilder on September 9, 2004, at 10:19:06

Dr. Hsiung,
It has been discussed in the past that prosylatizing would not be permitted on the forum. The board's definition of prosylatizing was that one could not say to join a particular group.
Now a post could be considered to fall in that definition or it could not. Could you examine the following post, and then click on the link in that post, and make a determination as to if the post or its link is prosylatizing or not in relation to the definition in the past?

Dr. Hsiung,
You wrote,[...IMO...I don't think she is telling ...to join her group...].
IMO,I see that her statement could have the effect of:
A. being an advertisment for the Mormon Church
B. being an invitation to the Mormon Church
C. An endorsement for the Mormon Church
IMO, a public forum has an obligation to show neutrality toward religion and that allowing an advertisment, or an endorsement or an invitation to join a particular church is not appropriate.
