re: use of the not-quite-a-word, sh*tty, and your previous determination on this subject.
i frequently read posts that contain various permutations of that, and other words, by folks who seem to squeak by without being warned, blocked, etc. the same thing goes for others that don't even bother to use the asterisks. i'm going to decline to provide the url of the posts where i noticed it happening (even today), because i'm not going to rat out other people in order to make a point.
i realize that you can't be everywhere at once and the occurrence of folks not-quite-using swear words is bound to slip past your watchful eye. still, i thought you'd already ruled on this issue as recently as may. at that time you said, as regards using a "cuss word", that using asterisks is "OK". no one complained about that determination, so i'm guessing it seemed a reasonable guideline to others, as it did to me. did you change your mind in another admin post that i missed? if so, i certainly apologise.

sorry, buddy.
i was reading the article on meditation all this time. i just noticed that myself and had come back to tack that on here!
'cause, yeah, it did look like she had used the asterisk and still got blocked. not like it bothered me, personally, that she didn't, though.
i know it can't be perfect. it's kinda like going through customs, i guess. some people get stopped, scrutinized, busted for having a fingernail file, and some people just slip on through. ;)
i still wish ROO wasn't blocked.
