To Dr. Bob~A Question?

Posted by galkeepinon on September 13, 2003, at 18:51:48

Hi, I guess I'm a little confused about the Grief board. I may have a brain fart. What is it that we are able to post about in terms of grief. I know you said losses, etc.
I guess I'm confused :(
Can you please explain? I don't know what would constitute grief and I didn't want to post if it doesn't relate to it. To me I guess I thought grief would be anything you're sad about, that's why I posted where I did. I was grieving, but is there something I'm missing here?
Thanks.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. In a mental health context, grief and mourning usually refer to sadness caused by death or at least loss of some sort.
