Why sometimes when I post a new thread the 'NEW' icon appears next to it, while other times it does not?
(Surely my post is more likely to be read and answered if it's got that nice 'new' icon next to it).
thanks,
Peter

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#flags
"Visiting" means loading the (current) main page. Say you visit at 8:00 and then come back at 9:00. Any messages that were posted during the previous hour will get the icon. But if you then reload the main page at 9:01, those same posts won't be considered "new" anymore, and only messages that were posted in the previous *minute* will get the icon. Is that more clear?

Occasionally I'll reply to a bunch of posts on the med board, reload my browser, and none of the 'new' icons show up with my posts. Do you have any clue what could be causing that?
This is the end of the thread.
