> You see, I consider posts like yours to arrouse ill-will toward others and without you identifying who the posters are that you are referring to, anyone that is involved in the thread(s) in question could think that you are referring to them. Also, without identifying what you mean by "lack of control shown by others", your post has the potential to be considered defaming to those in the thread and we do not know which ones you are referring to. Am I one of "the others"?.
> I am participating in a discussion group that has an administrative board that is used to discuss changes in the mental health community and being a discussant here could mean that you are referring to me as one of those that "shows lack of control". If you are referring to me as one of the others that show lack of control, I consider your statement to constitute defamation toward me. And if that is the case, please do not defame me anymore, even if the moderator here allows your type of posts here.

OK, I can't sit back and watch this happen again. Zen has the perfect right to NOT have to respond to inquiries from third parties to whom her posts are not directed. If a third party wishes to join a conversation, then that content should be productive, not pervasive or invasive. Dr. Bob, we have run this race before, why must you allow it to cause a whole lot of blockings before it's all said and done? You CLEARLY know who is the instigator in these issues, and you also know that the rest of us have a right to NOT respond to intrusive inquisitions by that party. I'm sorry, but if you allow this to happen again, I'm afraid that I will have to take corrective action of my own with the U of C.

If you are going to move posts about please do so in an orderly fashion and remove the above posts from PSB so that they can be here on PBA where you have deemed them to belong.
Consistency dear Doctor. Please.

Did I say anyone was obligated to respond to inquiries?
Why must I allow something to cause people to be blocked? Uncivil posts cause people to be blocked. Are you asking why I allow uncivil posts?

Dr. Bob--> Did I say anyone was obligated to respond to inquiries?Well Dr. Bob, one must respond to an inquiry from another poster if one wants that poster to no longer post to them. Therefore a response is required at times. Obligatory, no. Required to maintain civility, yes.
Dr. Bob--> Why must I allow something to cause people to be blocked? Uncivil posts cause people to be blocked. Are you asking why I allow uncivil posts? This is eerily like your reference to Star Trek for admin policies. Again I ask, are you serious when you ask Pax this Dr. Bob???

I did do it in an orderly fashion, I moved the ones after my redirect. It's OK with me if the earlier ones stay there. For an earlier discussion of moving posts, see:

Pax,
I'm concerned with all of the legal wrangling that has gone on lately here in Admin. I'm not sure what jurisdiction the U of C would have over Dr. Bob or even if they would wish to get involved in this site. As I understand it, Dr. Bob has had his own way of doing things. I disagree with the way he has handled this entire situation with Lou Pilder, except of course banning Lou.
I'm not sure what jurisdiction would be responsible for regulating a personal site set up by Dr. Bob. I doubt very much that all these threats of legal action does anything to change the way that Dr. Bob runs this site. If anyone does actually serve Dr. Bob with a subpeona I would be very surprised. This would be an interesting legal case. Like I said I don't know what jurisdiction anyone would appeal to in order to serve an actual subpeona to Dr. Bob.
Even if you all succeed in prosecuting Dr. Bob I'm not sure it would do much good.
Well, my 2 cents,
