It would be nice to be able to format text the way I want...

Yes, but there are downsides, too... What kind of formatting would you want to do?

I'd love some basic HTML allowed inposts.. The main message . chat place I use has that enabled so I am in such a habit of using it that I often add it to posts here accidently!!
just basic italic, bolding, centering would be good.. allow to add more os "us" to our posts.. but I wouldn't go as far as allowing font sizing / changing.. maybe colouring would be good!!

Pretty much exactly what Nikki said would be just great. Just bold, italics, underscore, font face, font color, and centering would be more than enough.

Or maybe you just haven't gotten around to posting here yet... I know the Ace issue has kept you pretty busy. :-)

That's fine, guess I have some more convincing to do. :-)
What about just bold, italics, underscoring, and centering?
