Dr. Bob- Archive Searches

Posted by colin wallace on June 16, 2003, at 11:08:26

Hmmmm. I can't seem to pull up any recent(2003)archived postings on a search-I always end up with masses of posts from way back.
It's a bit ponderous clicking "next 25 postings" for ages to reach anything recent.
Any way around this I wonder?

Cheers,

Col.

Ps.Also, the "find posts for you" will only highlight the *first* post encountered, from the top of the page downwards.
This usually means that this will be one I've previously read, and any recent one's underneath are missed out ie. not highlighted...

Have you tried including "2003" as a search term?

That's just how "Find" works. If you're using Netscape, "Find Again" then takes you to the next one, but IE may not offer that feature.

>>Thanks Bob, that will work fine with the google searches(not ordinary searches though).

May download Netscape then, just for the novelty!

Best,
