A lot of people seem to be posting in caps (at least the subject line). Especially on PB. It's annoying.

I think it may be new posters that do that. Sometimes, a gentle reminder that caps are considered cyber-shouting is all that's needed. If they don't respond & keep using them, I simply ignore those posts.

At least it's not different fonts and sizes and colors... :-)

...oh, yes! I don't know how many sites I've closed down as soon as I opened them with blinking, different coloured fonts & sizes. What were they thinking??!! I know they try to get our attention but those sites will send anyone into an epileptic seizure.

It's definitely not "issues based.") When I see all CAPS, I feel like unplugging the entire Internet. But that's just me.

Maybe the poster feels the necessity to scream and isn't that what caps are for???? It's an expression of frustration and anger. If used for those purposes, I see no harm. JMO!!!

It bothers me less if the poster is actually "screaming," as you have described, than if they use caps for no reason.
What I especially don't understand is someone posting an entire message in caps. It makes it hard to read and is considered poor etiquette on the internet.
As IsoM said, posters who overuse caps can be reminded, which I was considering doing if the caps-posting had continued on PB.

In that context I agree. The continual use of caps for an entire post out of laziness to use both upper and lower case letters by using the 'shift' key is extremely hard to read and also extremely annoying and makes me want to SCREAM at them. Sorry, I'm not in a good mood today. But I am agreeing with your point. :)

I would also like to add that I was extremely put off when I posted a message a few months ago on PSB using caps in the subject header and the entire message that was only one word drawn out to announce my screaming out in frustration and I was told off by another poster.
That also was poor etiquette. I was using caps out of frustration and I only had one word in my message.
