All day yesterday and now (1AM here) I have been getting 'doubles' of all the 'new' threads that I wanted follow-ups for.
I know it's really not a 'big deal', but, I was just wondering why it is happening.....???

I thought I fixed this, but it might be that you asked twice in that thread (clicked the box when you posted two separate times) to be notified.
