Dr. Bob--
I've noticed an unusual number of double posts on Babble boards lately--some from veterans who wouldn't have double-clicked on "confirm". Just now I replied to Willow re Mirapex on PB and it double-posted! My "confirm" click yielded a "Can't connect--Retry/Cancel" notice. Thinking my modem had timed out (though it never does), I clicked "Retry"--and the "refreshed" page had duplicate posts. This is a tech glitch I haven't encountered before, and I'm wondering if the same thing could be responsible for the other "doubles"? Any chance that it could be another "html code ghost"?
This must be my night for fruitless musings; guess I'll see if it happens again.---medlib

Hmm, could be, but why would your browser think it couldn't connect when in retrospect it obviously had? Maybe it was in fact a timing out-type problem? Maybe the site was busy and your browser got tired of waiting for a response?
If something's not happening a lot, I tend to write it off as Transient Net Weirdness. Sometimes, however, it does turn out to be a bug, and then it's a lot harder to fix...
