Help! I can't stop the notification e-mails.

Dear Dr. Bob,
Quite a while ago I contributed two messages to psycho-babble and for each message I checked the box that I wanted to be notified of follow up threads. For several months now I have been getting notification e-mails and I can't figure out how to stop them from coming. I have received hundreds of these e-mails and I can't seem to figure out how to stop them from coming. Since I didn't know about the administration board I didn't think of asking these questions. For some reason these e-mails don't stop coming when I go to the address given in the message. Even though the website says that the cancelation has been confirmed the messages keep being sent. I have also gone back to my orignial postings and have tried changing the checked box for notifications. How do I stop these e-mails from being sent? Thanks for your help.

Could you try doing that one more time (for each each post that's generating these emails)? The cancellation function wasn't working for a while, so that may have been it.

If that *still* doesn't work, then please forward to me by email one of each type of notification, and I'll look into it in more detail. Thanks for your patience,

Thank you very much for addressing my question about e-mail. You were right. I tried it again and it did work. It must have not been working when I previously tried it.
