Here we go again ! I don't think this site is a place this web page to be promoted.

Yup willow - Posts like his/hers are the reason I seldom bother giving advice here, anymore. I don't need that kind of crap; especially when inane theories and antiscience diatribe show up in my e-mail (and I haven't posted mine address in about 9 months). Sigh, I guess that's what you get for trying to help people who have a deep-seated fear of being helped. I'd rather help people who are trying to work at living within the parameters of their illness, with the only real tools we have. Some people just won't believe that there in no free lunch (or quick fix).
Take care willow & don't let it get you down; it's not worth it. - Cam

Cam
Thanks for your concern. He hadn't bothered me (I'm making an assumption that the poster was a male) and I actually felt sorry for the guy. Just imagine carrying all that baggage around, he can't have much joy in his life and probably has suffered much sorrow. And you are right that only he can resolve this!
Dr. BossI was aiming for an uncivil message and then I had a rebuttal planned. I couldn't argue with being called an idiot without knowing the true meaning of the word. The initial poster of the thread may truly feel that my reply was that of a young mind and I couldn't argue with his viewpoint.
When I first read the thread the fact that it portrayed a fairly true representation of the history of psychiatric care led me not to bother responding though I even thought the location of it was in poor taste. Then after further posts I figured I was better to judge his true colours.
With his derogatory comment which included my adoptive homeland I do believe my retort was accurate, though in bad taste.
And then again perhaps I was just feeling spiteful and petty!
Whistling Willow
This is the end of the thread.
