Dr. Bob-
I almost always forget to check the box marked "notify you of follow-ups to this thread" until I've submitted a message. Then, if I try to "go back" to check the box, I lose the message I wanted to submit. (Does anyone else have this problem?)Could the "notify box" be moved next to the "submit" button? I'm computer-challanged and do not know how much work this would entail. Thanks- Gracie

That's weird! The whole idea of a preview step is to allow you to go back and change things...
I'd also like to know, does this happen to anyone else?

Do you mean from under your email address to next to the initial Submit button? Or from that page to next to the Confirm button on the preview page?

> I'd also like to know, does this happen to anyone else?It seems on some machines, (which were using IE, I think) when I made a new thread, the preview window erased the message from the form in the preview page when I used the back function. I had to go back to the main page and edit in the form there, then re-submit the form, which rendered a new preview page.
If a person has such an experience, it can create a perception that the preview window will never work when it's backed up, though in reality, it might only be that way when posting a new thread. Just a possibility...there might be other issues such as with some versions of Netscape on some Mac platforms.

Dr. Bob-
If the "notify" box could be moved next to the "submit" button on the first page, that would be good...next to the "confirm" button on the second page would probably be even better. I forget about it, where it is now, because usually my name and stuff is already filled out for me... so I zip right past it.
It would be a great help! Thanks - Gracie

I think I can fix this (losing the message), but it's going to take some time, so it won't be right away...

That, OTOH, shouldn't be hard...

Bob,
I've never experienced this problem here, whenever I lose a message at PB it's generally because in my haste to post, I close the window before confirming it. I do have this problem at egroups occasionally. I'll go back to edit and get a page expired/timed out message. It only seems to happen when I access using IE.
