Psycho-babble is limited to medication issues; are there any guidelines for topicality for posts on Psycho-social babble?
I wonder if discussions of politics and other non-mental-health issues belong there. Is the idea for the board to educate and support about mental health, or provide a place for people who share the common bond of mental health issues/interest to discuss anything?

Although it is ultimately up to Dr. Bob to make the rules here I wanted to give my opinion on this topic.Psychological health in it's entirety consists of much more than mental health itself. There is also the spiritual, career, physical, social, political, and other aspects according to many psychologists. Discussing these various aspects of psy. health is healthy, too, I believe. Learning about or discussing how to get involved in making one's voice heard through voting or contacting a congressperson (politics) is good for one's self esteem and growth and thus applies to psychological health. Socializing, telling jokes, sharing ideas on holidays apply to the social aspect of one's psychological health. Other aspects that I mentioned and more apply to the entirety of psychological health. I hope this helps.

It was just (the original) Psycho-Babble that I wanted to be more focused.
