Hi Scott,
I trust you are doing well still and that your briliant combination is working as well as ever.
I am still unwell and thinking of switching to nardil. Could you let me know which brand of nardil you have been taking, and whether you always insist on the same brand?
Some people suggest that there is a substantial difference between the brands. I dont know if that has been your experienc?

Could you let me know which brand of nardil you have been taking, and whether you always insist on the same brand?I have to wait until I go to the pharmacy later today in order to find out which brand I have been using. In the past, I have asked for the same generic manufacturer for my prescriptions.
> Some people suggest that there is a substantial difference between the brands. I dont know if that has been your experienc? The only drug that I have had major problems with is lamotrigine. People always describe their generic version of Lamictal to be inferior. I tried two generic lamotrigine products. What a mess. They produced very little therapeutic benefit. I had to bring the Mylan version dosage up to 500 mg/day to produce any kind of antidepressant effect at all. The only generic version that was worth a damn was the original Teva product. I would rate it as equipotent to the brand name, Lamictal. Unfortunately, Teva stopped manufacturing their original product at the original factory when they bought out Allergan, another generic drug company. Allergan made its own version of lamotrigine. Without a need for having two lamotrigine factories, they decided to close the original one in favor of the Allergan factory.
I have not tried the Teva / Allergan version of lamotrigine, lamotrigine XR.

Scott, it woud be really helpful if you could post the name of the nardil generic you have been using, once you pick it up from the pharmacy. There has been a lot of discussion here in the uk about certain generic brands not working for some people. Thank you.
This is the end of the thread.
