So I quit my srength training only regimen and added some cardio. My endurance was pretty bad. It takes a toll on your mental health and general wellbeing. If there is any way you can get yourself to work out, do it. Youll feel much younger.

>Yeah, my endurance is probably better than ever before now, not all too long after I started running. It has also done more for the muscles below my knees than weight training did.

So you never worked out in your life prior to this phase you are in now? I hope it is not just a phase! I am trying to find the right dose of everything. Strength and endurance. If you do too much, you won't make any progress either.

I have rarely been in a phase where I went to the gym regularly, only last year, but I stopped. However, for some periods I have done a lot of cycling.

The walking has been a stable habit for many years now. Running is a recent development. I figure I won't be running much when it starts to get warmer outdoors, as I'll be overheating quickly. It seems the colder it is the more I run. It really gets the blood circulation going, which in particular helps cold fingers.
