Jazz pharma was the original manufacturer but no longer sells it ---for those who have used the generic ....do they use par or teva as it seems to be harder to get now

So, Luvox CR comes in generic? I thought it was only name brand. I can't find info online of a generic supplier. My fluvoxamine instant release is made by Apotex.

Interesting. I didn't know it came in generic. I'm now at 100mg of fluvoxamine instant release. No help for OCD/GAD yet. I've been taking it since August. This is my second time around after a failed trial last fall. I'm going up slowly and hope that it'll help eventually.
I think I'm getting heartburn (stinging in chest from it). Have you had that?

The goal is to go higher on the dosage. I'm going very slowly, because during my first failed trial of Luvox in Fall 2018 - I got urinary retention and tinnitus from advancing too fast to 100mg.
So far Luvox isn't helping at all.

I got up to 100mg. I had urinary retention and tinnitus that was noticeable at 75mg at that time, and worse at 100mg. So, I went off. Now, I'm back on, increasing the dosage slowly - at 100mg again. It's tough waiting, especially with the physical anxiety. Citalopram did nothing for me, so I wonder about how effective SSRIs will be for me. Still, I will continue to titrate up on Luvox if I can manage it.
This is the end of the thread.
