wellbutrin, if a mildly stimulating option is appropriate. the worst that happened to me on Wellbutrin was some coffee-like jitters when the dosage was increased. when I stopped it, I just felt a bit pensive, plus...it wasn't -nearly- as apathy-inducing as the ssri or ssnri drugs, but once it cleared out of my system...whoa. there was a numbing component to its action, just not as pronounced as with many (most?) other options.
gabapentin, benzodiazepines (to a point....). not traditionally considered "antidepressants," but...pretty much anything that reduces anxiety and tension improves scores for "depression." obviously, daily use can be a problem with Mother's Little Helpers. I'm not aware of a horrible discontinuation syndrome w/ gabapentin, but I don't really keep up with these things, either.
b-vitamins and antioxidants. again, not "antidepressants" in the traditional sense, but they certainly help me, a good bit. seems to help overall well-being, too.
stimulants. -not- an ideal solution for many people, but...I do think that -some- people would probably do better with a carefully dosed upper than the mind numbing cocktails shrinks seem to prefer. Based on my limited personal experience, I'd say Ritalin or Focalin are probably better for low mood than amphetamines, but others probably disagree.
tramadol-- not compatible with many Rx drugs, but...fast acting, helpful. when I was on it for pain, I found my obsessive weirdness went down a couple notches almost immediately, then almost disappeared.
that's about all I can think of...interesting initial post/question.

Wussifying: the ones that turn you into a over-agreeable, docile, spineless, namvy-pamvy, wishy-washy, artsy-fartsy, losey-goosey, go-with-the-flow, turn-the-other-cheek, shadow of a man.

that would be norepinephrine antidepressants, reboxetine, strattera, wellbutrin, and the TCAs....
increase NE which makes you more alert, and kickier, strong serotonin antidepressants are known to me rosey-dosey meds, and the opiates hydrocodone, oxycodone, morphine, the main pains meds, they make you feel rosey dosey and compliant so you continue to take them.... personally Prozac .. it just makes everything feel ok, in some ways it suppresses the negative feelings, but it makes things feel fine....but it's not euphoric, or high feeling, it just subtle 'ok' feeling

meaning sometimes it makes things feel fine, when there actually not.....but fluoxetine is not potent compared to other heavy serotonin antidepressants, those are strong on serotonin and give a 'content' bliss feeling,
opiates i'm sorry i have to say are wussify meds, enjoy feeling, and you become compliant in able to continue to take them, either through doctor, or elsewhere. I've seen it, when i was at psych hospital, they would be compliant in order to continue taking opiates

I'm not sure which ones you've already tried. But I second folks who say Wellbutrin can be a great medication. Some of the antipsychotics like Lithium to help, but overall they're horribly sedating. (That's just me. I know they've been a lifesaver for other folks.) Of all the meds I've been on, Prozac was my favorite. It gave me a decent amount of energy, turned the volume down on my depression and anxiety, but other than that, I still felt human. Trintellix was an interesting one. It was really, really energizing, but did nothing for my anxiety, so bye bye Trintellix (and depending on your insurance, it can be a headache to get them to pay for it).
