So I'm switching from 900 mg/day Moclobemide to 20 mg/day Parnate. My question is how long should I wait to washout the Moclobemide. My Doctor recommended 5 days. But from my past experience of running out of Moclobemide, I'll be incapacitated if I go without any antidepressant for that long. I would think with the short half life of Moclobemide I could get away with a one day washout. Thoughts?

Ummm...well, what problem(s) pop up when you go w/o the AD? Maybe a short term benzodiazepine could tide you over?

I get depresed as hell when I've gone without the AD. I mean curled up in a fetal position in bed, unable to function, wishing for death depressed.
