I tried it. It didn't help.
There are several people here who have made riluzole a part of their treatment regime.
What about putting together a cocktail of:
Abilify
Lamictal
minocycline
NADThe Lamictal, minocycline, and NAD might possibly produce a more therapeutic reduction in glutamate activity than riluzole. The Abilify would act as a dopamine system stabilizer.

Interesting though hyper expensive. Insurance doesnt necessarily pay for off-label use i suppose.

Is it related to NADH? If so, then i have trouble taking it as it is dopaminergic.Minocycline.. i want to get a doctors opinion on using that long term.

Hey man hope you are hanging in there. I tried Riluzole and it was one of the most powerful anti depressants I have taken. Unfortunately it caused me to not be able to put a sentence together after about 3 months. It is a rare side effect but typically I got it. Wish I hadn't or else I would still be all over it. Took about 9 weeks to work so it was slow going. The NAG is going well.

Riluzole is a NMDA antagonist. Many NMDA antagonist are under study for their antidepressant qualities.
