I wouldn't take too many spammers out there. Personally had the "FBI" virus from clicking on some link. It's still imbedded somewhere in my computer as computer will not turn off properly and loses internet connection for no reason. Been in Best Buys with computer geeks for over a day and new protection. I just wouldn't give info to anyone. P

P,i took the survey. I have a program on my laptop that warns me of corrupt sites. On another computer we have, we got that virus from the fbi on it. I did a total system recovery, not sure what it's called, and it took the computer back to the factory state. So all files that we put on it were lost, but it was pretty new so we didnt have that many files on it. Anyway, that took the virus off. However, I have read that the virus can continue to operate in the background.I havent taken it to the professionals. Ive been keeping a close eye on all my accounts, etc, so far everything is fine.

Gadchik know what you mean. Mine just keeps going offline and not turning off with clicking the modum button at this point. They removed so many virus's. You are good at computers to be able to do systems restore on your own. Sure don't want to take it back in. Are you near this hurricaine? P

My mother is in Va. Pretty bad there, she's expecting to lose electric. Ive extended an invitation for her to drive here, but we may lose electric. She's playing cards today with a bunch of ladies that get together and play for hours, and they each bring a dish to eat.

Amazon is dangerous for me. I'd spend the gift certificate plus $300.00 on stuff I "need."

Gadchik mountains of WV? Keep a watch out for this poor lady that left this neighborhood about 55, Goldish tan SUV. Unfortaunately she's an unmedicated paranoid schizophrenia that the family refused to take papers out on til she left here. Was seen in Charlston SC begging for money. Last we all heard here she was in Harrisburg I think VA. When checked a map it's near WV. She's harmless thinks others are trying to poison her. And before she stopped her meds (don't know why) she held an administrative job in the hospital earning 6 figures. I feel so bad for her as all here blame her for not taking her meds. Jeez poor lady is paranoid she's not going to take meds unless hospitalized.
Since got the FBI virus my computer will not shut off without holding the off button. This happens frequently during the day. Any idea what this could be as getting worse daily? Thanks P
