Hi,
I have been taking Zyprexa 17.5 mg for around 11 years. I have OCD and mild depression which I think is due to the reduced serotonin effect of the Zyprexa.I do not want to take an SSRI due to sexual side effects.
What methods are available to increase serotonin without an SSRI?
I tried Sam-E but it did not help.
thanks

so, youve never taken an SSRI? i got by with prozac at 20mgs without a single effect on sexual functioning. if you are nervout, just start on a really low dose of an SSRI, maybe 10mgs of prozac. or, as SLS mentioned Viibryd might be a good idea.

I agree it's worth a try. Not everyone has sexual side effects. I did not, at all. Just the opposite, actually, since I was so much less off in my own world.
