Is it safe to take Afrin with Nardil?
I've seen conflicting reports on this.

Hi,
I seem to recall something indicating an interaction between MAOI's and decongestants. I was on ENSAM a while back.
Please ask your pharmacist for confirmation.

One place you can chck interactions is www.drugs.com but I'd always recommend speaking to a pharmacist if at all possible.

Afrin and parnate wouldn't be okay. At least that's what my pdoc says and he usually knows what he's talking about.

There is an interaction between MAOI's and decongestants, but that mainly applies to oral ones - topical decongrstants like Afrin dont get into the circulation in high enough doses to cause an issue.
Take Tylenol, use Afrin, try Vicks Vaoprub in steam
