Corporal punishment as required.

Hey Ed, I'm surprised your asking this question since it appears you have fairly extensive knowledge and experience with medications.
What have you tried?
Zoloft did all those things you listed for me for 7 years. The only reason why I'm not still having success with it is because I quit taking it and now things have changed, including my response to Zoloft.

Seriously isn't that what we all want out of these drugs. We don't want to be euphoric all the time. We don't want to be supermen/women. We just want emotion regulation. Just to feel normal, like we used to.

Unfortunately you would need 6 different pills. And then you would need 6 more to deal with the side effects of the first 6.

'Mood stabilisers' and antipsychotics are banned. Also, don't want anything that will make me fat.

Is medicinal marijuana that much different that good quality stuff you by from your friend? Unless it is, I'm only getting 2 out 6, and it won't be the kind of effect I would want to feel in normal everyday life. Plus, the effect would not last as long as I would want it to.
I think a good antidepressant, with a 24 hr. half life that gets someone 70 percent better without unwanted side effects, would be ideal. Then with proper exercise, proper diet, EFA's, positive social interaction/positive relationships, and therapy, someone should be able to take care of the other 30 percent.
A lot of people find this antidepressant and it works great for years. Unfortunately, many other people are not so lucky.

I can't say I've had a lot of success in dealing with this problem myself.
Could you move to the US and get one of those modern diagnoses?

I like to think I have comorbid ADHD and OCD.
Could that be right?
Surely I have executive dysfunction.
How much proof do you need for these things?

Nah, I don't think so Sigi. I think you are unique.
Nabilone supposedly helps chemotherapy nausea, but causes a lot of side effects. It was soon dumped after Zofran was launched.

I said to my shrink (I think) that I had it and should be treated with amphetamines and opiates.
