There seems to be a lot of talk about MAOI's resurgence lately, in both the forum and the medical community (probably due to its higher success rates compared to contemporary SSRI's).
Well, I'm starting an MAOI for the first time this Thursday and am just wondering if you guys have any points of advice when taking it or things I might expect.
After many years with Treatment Resistant Depression, my new doctor seems to think that this might finally make a difference. I've tried so many different anti-depressants, atypical anti-psycotics, and mood stabilizers that it seems hard to believe it will work, but I have hope.

My doctor hasn't said for sure, but I think it will be Nardil.

Good luck with it. It may be what you need. It worked for me when no others do.
Report on your experiences. Maybe I or others can help if issues come up. I"ve taken parnate and emsam and there are certainly lots of nardil takers too.
