Emsam leg pain

Posted by sensitive on July 1, 2010, at 13:14:29

I have been on Emsam 9 mg since Jan 2010. my knees and thighs are having a lot of pain and when I go to bed at night my toes feel numb and painful. Is anyone else having this problem and have you done anything to help It.? I also take Ativan. It did seem to get worse when I started the Ativan. maybe I am just imagining that. I am sensitive to many meds. Thanks for any comments.

First is it helping your depression? Have you asked your doc about the leg pain? Phillipa

Yes it is helping my depression. My Dr. doesn't seem to want to address pain at this time. It is very uncomfortable.

I have been having a lot of joint pain in general and much leg pain at night since starting emsam. I just upped the dose to 12mg and I hope that will change matters.
For now I take Hyland's Leg Cramps pills and ibuprophen at night
Good luck to you
