I don't have a job and that means no money, no control over things. I don't know what i'm going to do with out proper medication, this person I live with, why did this happen?
I feel so irrelevant, and I have no control over things, there all controlled by one person. And then, that disables me.

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. I can understand why you feel so awful.
Are you in the US? If so aren't there any programs that help people get the needed drugs they can't afford?

Rj,
I think you should start the process of applying for SSI (Supplemental Security Income), if your mental distress and disability keeps you from being able to work for now. This is so that you can get some income to pay rent when you can get your own place. It can take a long time, but just stick it out. (As a side note, if you can get SSI, it comes with Medicaid, which can help with your medications, medical appointments. and hospitalizations.)
Then, do online searches for the public housing authority in your town or city or county. See if you can get on a list for your own subsidized housing or a Section 8 voucher to use at any place that accepts the voucher. In my city, there is a Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development (I think that's the name it goes by here. I'm sure the names of these departments vary in different locations.) There may also be an apartment complex for only senior citizens and people with disabilities, and the rent is based on a percentage of your income, so even if you don't have much money, you can still have a little apartment of your own, away from your mom's interference.
Have you heard of the "Housing First" concept? ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Housing_first ) I hope it really takes off more. It's too bad that it looks like a person might have to be homeless to get that housing service, though. That really stinks for so many other people who need it, but aren't homeless.
But maybe you can put up with the problems of your family if you are on a waiting list and it will lead to getting a place of your own.
Another thing to look up online is the name of your county and "Community Mental Health Center." The website for the center in your county may say if they have any housing programs specifically for people with mental health problems.
After you get Supplemental Security Income, you might also look to see if the community mental health center where you live has a program for "Supported Employment," if you want to try a job but need some help to keep it. If your community mental health center doesn't have that, you can also try the Vocational Rehabilitation office where you live, and see if they have a program like that. But first, I think you should start the process of trying to get SSI and then your own place.

You can apply for Supplemental Security Income at the Social Security Administration's office closest to you.
You can read more about it at http://www.ssa.gov/d&s1.htm .

What it is, I've applied for jobs and they havent called me back, i wouldnt say i'm "totally" disabled, yet there are some aspect's that effect work such as ADHD, and if I talked to a social worker, i know this sounds silly, Dexedrine Spansules help tremoudously with functioning, and clearing up "unactive" part's of the mind that sometimes are not actived, even under stress stimulus, which causes more error's. It's like being "half awake", i'm awake, but there is some section of the mind that is "asleep", I don't have Narcolepsy, but there is small part's that resemle it. And I think that's why stimulants have always been good in use. I take Nuvigel, which is similar to Provigel, yet it doesnt help with mental concetration, more "wakefulness", and mood.
Could I talk to a social worker? I guess I would have to find one because, i want it to be seen as it is, if i'm truely "disabled" because I feel so irrelvent that I am, and try to fight it.
I'm going to check this out, thank you for posting!

I contacted it though mail, just waiting for a response because really, I don't think i'm disabled, i just have emotional problems I feel irrelvent, and that's a mind set. Yet i struggle alot with things in general: clutsy in work, speech and stuff.
I told them, all of what i've written here about feeling disabled in work, (some day's i'm good, some day's are bad) and I don't want to be considered disabled when I can apply myself.
Thanks for the referal!
