I find this website to be incredibly helpful. The author notes that it would be possible to score 60 out of 100 points on the Harvard bipolar index without having any mania or hypomania. Food for thought.

Yes, I too find that McMann's stuff is incredably well ballanced. He takes into account a lot of different research and points of view.
