Does anyone think that Adderall XR is better than regular Adderall?

XR first i thought releases "half" and the other half releases after the first half wears off.
Say...30mg
9am-releases 15mg's(half of 30)
1pm-releases the 2nd 15mg and lasts for 4hours
(9am-1pm [4 hours] <> 1pm-5pm [4hours])Immidate release [the tablets] i've read...release into the blood stream within 15-30min. So it's more "noticeable"
XR's i made a mistake, i don't take Adderall XR (i did for a while,2004)
Dexedrine Spansules release in a slow way, but you notice an effect with 30min, but it doesn't "all desolve" at once. Spansules are the same as XR, they are just from a older generation. The 50's.
But also confusing, because i was precibed Vyvanse at one time..take up to an hour to work. Vyvanse was not good....at all. It stay in my system, the next day, and build it's self up (even thought the chemical d-amphetamine was metabolized)
So, tablets, you would get a very noticeable "awake" effect. XR slowly, but it does it's job.

Adderall XR was jittery to me but I've have a friend taking Vyvanse and said it was much smoother and less jittery than Adderall XR. You didn't like Vyvanse?

I read that vyvanse was supposedly the replacement drug for when Shire pharmaceutical allow the production of generic adderall XR. Vyvanse is a long acting dexedrine right?

It depends,
Vyvanse...is mixed with d-amphetamine/l-lyrosine(lysine) i dont know.
But, it's much less abusable form because it only alows so much to be absorbed.
Vyvanse was suppost last 12 hours.
It only lasted 7 with me, plus it took about an hour to start working. And, it does not feel like any other stimulants, because it is slowly released through out the body.
