> that's what it is... that's so sad :(These aren't permanent effects that I've ever heard, a libido loss -while taking- atypicals is more because of changed levels of prolactin than a different route that occurs with a variety of SSRIs.
I assume blunting could also affect libido but I think its the prolactin change that does this more, and its a different type of feeling of libido change than SSRIs I think for some.
I wouldn't call it EPS, but it dissipates as one goes off an AP that isn't agreeable to the patient.
Not all atypicals affect prolactin as much, but I assume like anything it varies by person.

Are you sure it's not due to the Seroquel? When I was taking high dosages of this, my libido left me.
Abilify in fact, bought it back.
