Generic Adderall XR + Dosage Questions

Hi all,

It has been a while since I have posted. I am glad to see familiar names still using this thread.

I was recently put on Adderall XR 10 mg. The first day went well, and also the second day. The third day I did not feel like the med was working. Does anyone think this could stem from being on a low dosage? I am to report back to my pdoc in 30 days when a refill is needed. I do not take it on Saturday and Sunday.

What is the typical starting dosage?

I also have been reading that Shire Pharmaceuticals came to an agreement to let Barr Pharmaceuticals manufacturer a generic form of Adderall XR beginning April 1st, 2009.

Has anyone found this same information?

If so, how long do you think it will take before Generic Adderall XR will be placed on the market for purchase by consumers?
