I believe those are some possible side effects. Are you having your salts monitored and the lithium level looked at... you should periodally .
If this is for BP or even unipolar, I would say Lamictal.

If the Lithium giving you such awful side-effects, you may try other alternative that is more likely one of Anti-Psycho.meds. such as Zyprexa, Seroquel and others, if you have Bipolar, either BP I or II.
For me, there is NO significant side-effects by taking Lithium, 600 mg. divided in two, except stomach-upsets once awhile, for that I need to be careful not to eat spicy or tomoto/acid-related foods.
For me, Zyprexa 5 mg. before the bed along with Lithium and Trazodone is practically 'life-saver' on which I've been for quite a long time, close to 8 years now.
I've never been on other meds. for Bipolar II except the Lithium and Zyprexa along with other two meds., Trazodone and Wellbutrin. On this combo., my Bipolar II is pretty much in remission, unless unexpected events happen, such as Job-related issues and some of my hobby-related incidents, such as eBay and the like.

you might want to do a lower dose of lithium, but still some of it. Lithium has number of interactions in teh body, so you might need to try a few things.

What about ebay as that is our business. It's stressful but we deal with it. Are you a seller or buyer? Sorry to get off track. As for the lithium have seen it work wonders in alchoholics also calms some down. maybe they were self-medicating with alchohol? Phillipa

Yes, I'm a loyal and long-time buyer and have been hooked-up with eBay for long time, .... maybe about 7 - 8 years. For the past months, due to Holiday season, I purchased a bunch, ... mostly my hobby stuff along with 20 Oven-Mitts and Placemat.
Yesterday, I waited a package to come but didn't. The seller e-mailed me having shipped four days ago, then it should be here, ... but not. Normally, it takes just a few days, because three states away in the East Coast where I live. I didn't include 'Insurance' that the seller wanted, ... so today, I'm not in good mood due to a great concern, ... for my payment more than $100. Hopefully, tomorrow, Monday the package with several purchases will come. If not, ... well, I'd need to e-mail? ? ?"

According to my pdoc. and others here, in the Internet, Zyprexa and Lithium goes very well, but I think Seroquel is also very effective to Bipolar, not for BP I but BP II. Because, Seroquel is mild side in comparison to the Zyprexa.
As you're experiencing, a lot of Bp folks have a problem of taking the Lithium, particularly 'shaking' that I had at the beginning on it, but went away as times passed-by.
Aside from the Lithium, ... probably other mood-stabilizer, Depokote that I was my very first M.S. upon dx'ed with Bp.
I truly understand your search for a right med. combo. Since I had only few of BP meds. although my case is severe form, Rapid-Cycling BpII, I might not be a good helper to your plea.
Hopefully, you'll get more responses soon.

Okay we're seller's l00% rating. Most sellers know that they are responsible for seeing your package is delivered. We provide deliviery confirmation on all our deliveries but not insurance as cost is less. If you don't get package and no delivery confirmation file with paypal item not received. A dispute will be opened and you will most likely win. Don't stress. We've had packages overseas that took much longer than anticipated for buyer to receive. Sometimes up to three weeks or a month. We make sure the buyer gets delivery confirmation on our labels when printed. If any further info needed babblemail me. Love Phillipa ps what is your seller's rating?
