provigil and anger

Posted by annabamma on October 4, 2008, at 0:51:06

I'm having a hard time figuring out if my anger/irritability / is because of depression or being on Provigil.Lately, some things have made me feel more upset and angry-physically,mostly-than really is called for.Mentally, I'm not as upset-but the adrenaline and all the alarm chemicals are up and running! Hmmmmmmm-now that I type this it sounds like a anxiety attack-only with anger instead of fear. Isn't the human body great? Just as you think you've figured some stuff out-your chemistry changes. So how to deal with the anger besides numbing up with SSRIs?

provigal works by changing the amounts of certain natural substances in the area of the brain that control sleep and wakefulness

it has antidepressent or mood brightening effects on "some people" and has been tested with bi-polar depressives

however the most common side-effects are headaches and nervousness
it's not for everyone
gives me a combative attitude at times
or did
i don't take it any more

i'm also searching for something to help with anger and impatience and have given up on ADs

please keep posting
hang in there
