Hey all...
I'm sure some of you have been following my posts, and wondering how the P-doc visit went. Here are the meds I'm taking and dose etc.
Nardil- Started with 15 mg daily for one week, then will add 15 mg each week until I reach 60 mg. Once at 60 mg, I will take 30 mg @ 10 AM, and 30 mg at 10 PM.
Klonopin- Was at 1.5 mg per day. Will wean down .125 mg per week until I am at 1 mg. Once at 1 mg, I will take .5 mg @ 10 AM, and .5 mg @ 10 PM (same schedule as Nardil)
Dextroamphetamine- Was at 10 mg 3 times per day. The doc cut my dose in half. Now taking 5 mg 3 times per day, 4 hours apart. No particular time schedule. Usually when I wake, and not on days off work.
The doctor would not give me Nifedipine capsules, and said that if I had a hypertensive crisis to go to the ER. WTF?Honestly, I do think that once the final doses are reached and in my bloodstream for awhile, that this med-cocktail will be awesome for my social anxiety/ADHD.
However, I would feel MUCH more comfortable carrying some Nifedipine Caps just in case.
Does anyone know where I can buy some? Do they have to be prescribed?

Nifedipine is only available with a prescription. I guess your doctor wants you coming to the ER to get evaluated rather than trying nifedipine at home which may or may not work.

> KlonopinYou can find anything on the internet. Also clonodine works. Know a nurse on babble had an attack and put a clonodine under her tongue and it worked.

True, you can find anything online. I used to get my Nardil online. I'll take a look.

I used to aspire to be a songwriter/actor. Now that I'm on these meds, I feel no creativity whatsoever.
I also have no goals or aspirations. I just wake up to work, and work to go home.
I can say that I'm "comfortably numb" without pun. ;(
