Yes, I am currently coming off of 60mg Cymbalta after using this drug for over a year I did not do as the others done I simply am doing as I did with anything esle in my life quit cold turkey. WOW and let me say you can even say it backward WOW this stuff sends you into what I call feeling as if I have been sitting in a bar for hours on end. Then to boot I am up then I am down Angry sad confused lost forgetful I thought I had a prob before the drug man, there have been moments when I thought I was going to pass out vomit and crap on myself. I think next time my doc wants to prescribe something I will get a second oppinion. Thanks for letting me ramble on.

You might want to post this on the withdrawal board a whole lot of threads on withdrawing from cymbalta. Good luck to you and sorry you feel so horrible. Love Phillipa

cold turkey WHY do you like pain an stuff , from 60 mg is easy slow with suppliments mabye 3 weeks cruising. what is the point of what your doing beats me. manic666

I can sure identify -- I also tried to quit cold turkey against my better judgement recently (I was worried about liver damage), and after a couple of days I not only felt stoned, I had trouble talking, my tongue felt about 6 inches thick in my mouth. It was NOT what I was expecting, which was the exact opposite -- hyper, edgy, anxious etc. My pharmacist was kind enough to give me a refill in 30 mg caps instead of 60's, which helped. After a week or 10 days on 30/day I cut back to 30 mg every other day, which went OK.
I never went off it altogether, I'm back on 60 mg/day for now as I'm slated for blood tests next week to see if it really is affecting my liver.
I'm not sure if it comes in a smaller cap than 30 mg.
