Hello, I have been prescribed nardil for social anxiety:
Wt73kg
Nardil 15mg 5 days
30mg 5 days
45mg 7 days
60mg 12 daysSo currently been on for a month and I am getting a bit dizzy and drowsy so much that my social life is worse than without because i am sleeping outside work all the time! No reduction in SA currently.
Not experiencing other side effects such as anorgasmia, constipation, appetite increase.I intend to persevere though..
Just wonder if its worth carrying on 60mg up til 28 days, or is it worth stepping up to 75 (1mg/kg for my weight) right away, because i am getting side effects and no benefits.

Unfortunately, a higher dose may make you sleepier. Or it may not. The only way to find out is to try. If I were you, I would give it a shot. If it is really bad, just reduce back to 60mg and give it a month or two to evaluate if it is working at all. For SA, higher doses are often required before benefit is seen. I am on 90mg for depression, not SA, and have not seen the same problems as you with daytime sleepiness, but I increased VERY gradually, 15mg each week until I reached 90mg. In fact, my biggest problem is insomnia, which has gotten much worse all of a sudden at 90mg...

I think I will wait 4 weeks until I step it up to 75mg. I don't want to be drowsier otherwise it would be a disaster. Just over 2 more weeks on 60mg it is then.

I think that is a smart move. It couldn't hurt to wait. Hopefully by then, the drowsiness will have faded, and the drug will have kicked in 100%. You may not even need to go to 90mg.
