I swear you guys just 2 20mg pills in the morning and im normal as can be, there is no depression, depression has been like removed from any of my feelings.
Well, i believe im going on Lithium because, prozac during the middle of the day when im at my stress peak, i get a little unstable.
Can prozac keep you awake? first all there, i take some benzo's to sleep, i had to take one today because i thought i was losing my mind...it calmed me down but not, it just caused sedation, not mind sedation.
I think i do need to go on to Lithium really.... everyone in my class says my energy waves are sparatic... i just say anything off the top of my mind....ROFL.
I've already known what benzo's do, they calm you down when something bad is happening, but when your thoughts bother you i think its best to have a antimanic. Like Lithium
What does Lithium..........feel like....
(im scared) go hide in shower....ROFL!

Hi Fan,
Let us know how the lithium trial goes. I think that benzos are a good short term solution to mood stabilization, but maybe you need something with a little more oomph? Is that what you mean?Anyway, glad you're not depressed anymore. A little worried that you may be at the opposite pole- a touch manic? perhaps?

yes i actually get manic, a little unstable during the day, but im never depressed. I think may, well acuatlly never i get depressed, the prozac will not let me get depressed at all.
I just feel great sometimes during the day. And then lose things, and i am "mad manic" VERY alert, but not depressed just mad, irrtible, talk very much to people. Sorry thats a abstact way of explaining ROFL!
Thats why im thinking Lithium needs to come into this scene soon. Because being tossed around in life making me mad, i need some stablization.
I do take a benzodiazpine (alprazolam) but it doesnt help with stablization, I feel good ok for a while, it helps with calming. I need a nueroleptic, and a benzo. Then im fine. But i dont want to get too dulled out. By the way alprazolam only lasts 2 hours in my motabolizim.
Prozac lasts almost 3 days with out taking it.
Very long half life.
