Might anyone have an idea when Agomelatine may be available in the US? From what I can find, it is currently in Phase III FDA trials.

It's apparently had some trouble getting approved in Europe, but it seems very interesting as it has alleged benefits for anxiety, depression and sleep as it works as a melatonin agonist and 5-HT2 antagonist. From just brief reading, it is hypothesized that these actions also lead to increased prefrontal dopamine and norephinephrine.
Of course the proof is always in the pudding, but this one looks interesting.
