ssri's only work for a while and only lexapro/celexa lure me back
i feel so good and then i plungeparnate filled me with self loathing
tianeptine made me edgy and teary
i'm on adderall for focus but i am quite insane (not used lightly) in the early morning
terrified of getting out of bed
do not want to move a muscle
i hate staying in bed in the morning
my body is ready to move
i go back to sleep and have horrible dreamswhat the hell do i do next?
the adderall really is helping with structure when i have a specific task in front of me
and i am looking for work so focus is good
what about being mean in the afternoons?
i'm going to buy 3 alarm clocks tomorrow and torture myself into getting out of bed
it's the only way
my kid has this week off school and sleeping in is twisting my mind and giving me an excuse to skip the gym where i run from my demons
oh dear
clean cups. move down, clean cups

There's always having the Aderall before you get out of bed, and it should help there.
But what about the afternoons?
(That's why I don't like amphetamine.)

>This is an indication you you may have an underlying bipolar disorder. Have you ever tried a mood stabilizer to augment lexapro or celexa? Trials of various AD's, esp for them to work then poop out is a red flag and should be considered.

Polarbear how many weeks do you think is a fair trial on an SSRI to see if it works as I'd love to respond to one. And adding a mood stabalizer wouldn't be a problem I don't think. Love Phillipa

Everybody responds differently. Some it may take up to weeks if they are in the depths of a debilitating depression. If you don't feel better by week three, then chances are you will not respond. You should start out with a ultra low dose of an SSRI. As I recall, you are sensitive to medication? Do you have insomnia?
Paxil would be a good choice for you. Have you ever tried it?

Yes l0mg of paxil with low dose xanax was my first and after about three months I felt good. I also drank quite a lot of beer at the time and my pdoc know and approved. See thread below was just presribed serzone by pdoc as it's sedating and anxiety out of control on 40mg of valium. Unbelieveable. ps quit drinking 9 years ago. Love Phillipa/ Jan
