Yxibow ... do you feel like your body has gotten adjusted to Seroquel and it has lost some of its effect? Or it is working the same as when you started it? How long have you been on it?
And do you have AOL IM? I'm SPORTSCARvell

No, I don't think Seroquel has lost its "effect" -- I'm just slightly (emphasis slightly) more used to its antihistamine affect at H1 which causes sleep.
If someone were to go take a gram of Seroquel which is what I'm taking, all at once, and never having taken it, they would probably drop to the ground and fall asleep in short order.
Its hard to say what parts of Seroquel play in my disorder -- you can say that the effects (lower they may be) at D2 alter my visual symptoms, you can also say that the effects at 5HT downregulate serotonin and affect an OC / PTSD-like side of the disorder.
The one thing I can say in common about all the medications I'm taking is, with the possible exception of Cymbalta, is they're sleep inducing. That effect in its own right may also dampen anxiety at the expense of changing affect (more blank visible emotion.)
I prefer babblemail, I have various assortments of IM names but my presence can be random, you can try that first.Cheers

It would appear to work about the same when I started it, but I started at a lower dose and it wasn't as effective. Its a very low potency for D2 for my purposes. Zyprexa would have been better but my hands shake; Geodon causes nasty akathisia and I'd leave that for a last resort.
I've been on Seroquel for mm... 2+ years ?
